The race will take place on an almost traffic free straight road, and consist of 3 legs on an out and back course. Each leg will start and finish on the cricket field.
Parking will be on surrounding roads so please share transport with team members wherever possible and park where instructed by marshals.
All teams will be made up of three runners. Each leg will be approximately 3 miles.
Men’s categories: M35+; M40+; M50+; M60+; M70+.
Women’s categories: F35+, F45+, F55+, F65+.
Individuals may ‘run up’, e.g. an M55 could be part of an M40+ team.
£18/per team of three runners.
Teams should be entered by May 28th by emailing or posting the entry form to the address you’ll find on it. We will try to be as flexible as possible with regard to entries/alterations after this date.
Payment made be made by cheque, by bank transfer (details on the form), or by card via the website. £1 per runner goes to the host club as a thank you for putting on the race.
Although teams should be entered in advance, the names of your runners are to be declared on the day at registration.
Runners must wear club vests with their team number on their front and their age category on their back. Failure to do so risks demotion or disqualification by the race referee. Please bring sufficient safety pins to attach numbers and age categories, i.e. 6-8 per runner.
There will be awards for the first three teams in each category. Clubs may enter more than one team in an age category, and all teams will be eligible for prizes.
Additionally, the fastest individual leg in each team category will win a bottle of wine.
Holders of trophies from the last staging of this event should return them at registration before the race starts.
