I am sorry to have to report that Pete Covey, who has been involved in YVAA for nearly 40 years has decided that ill health forces him to retire from the committee.
Pete was a great runner especially on the fells and will be sadly missed and I’m sure he will attend events local to his home in Pudsey when he is back up on his feet.
I am sure all the many runners that have attended YVAA events over the years will join me in wishing him well and hope we can look forward to seeing him before long sporting his new YVAA Hoody!
