Cross Country Championship 2023 Beverley.
Many thanks for organisation of this years event. For the athletes taking part it appeared to run smoothly on a course that offered something for everyone.

Hi Mike. I loved my first XC Champs at Beverley – first since joining Scarbrough AC in 2003, but before then as 2nd Claim for Bingley when I lived in London but was planning to move to your area in 2003 – change of plan and a move to Scarborough. So around 2000 and as a M60, I ran with Fred Gibbs – always 2nd Bingley behind him. I got Yorkshire and Northern XC Team medals thanks to Fred It would have been good to see him at Beverley but It looks like he has retired, Please pass on my memories of him. Judging by his age, he would have been conscripted as National Service, I would be interested to hear about this if so, Mick
