  1. i thought that the females over 45s having a separate race was somewhat sexist, as i run with many females under 60 that are the same or better than i, and i think most would be able to run 10k. It seems somewhat regressive to have this situation

    1. It’s a tricky one, balancing equality with inclusion, and I don’t think you’ll ever please everyone.

      I believe the current distances emerged from consultation with our runners, but before I was involved with YVAA.
